Robert joined Clarendon Law in 2023 after a varied career which has included working for the Home Office, a major financial services provider, and academic research and teaching.

Robert has a substantial academic background. Among his qualifications he has a doctorate in Sociology from Leicester University. He has taught and lectured at UK and overseas universities including Leicester, Derby, Newcastle, and Johannesburg. He recently achieved a second doctorate in the History of Ideas at Lancaster University where Robert researched the concept of sincerity.
From 2018 Robert worked with several barristers carrying out a range of tasks, including legal research, early drafting of documents, interviewing clients, and preparing witness statements.
The main areas of law which interest him are Civil Procedure, Trusts, and Contentious Probate.
He is undertaking law and legal practice training through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) with the intention of qualifying as a CILEX Lawyer specialising in Civil Litigation.
