Wanyu completed her foundation legal education in China and qualified as a Chinese lawyer in 2019. She subsequently gained an LLM in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Glasgow in 2021, before completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at the University of Law in London in 2024.

Prior to joining Clarendon Law in May 2026, Wanyu gained valuable experience through part-time pro bono work and full-time internships with law firms, where she developed a particular passion for dispute resolution. She is committed to delivering clear, practical legal support to clients and looks forward to building her career in this field.
Outside of work, Wanyu enjoys music and film. She is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and has a working knowledge of Japanese, making her a valuable point of contact for the firm's Chinese-speaking clients.
